In essence, the Virtual Freshers Festival is a chance to connect with students from all Universities across the UK through our digital platform, live social media content, TikTok challenges, online tutorials, product demos, freebies and much more.
This content can be live in the form of webinars and talks or pre-recorded (whether it’s product demos, promotional videos, influencer collaboration content, etc).
We can use the content you already have, create it for you or connect you with student influencers and collaborate with them to create the kind of content our audience would be used to watching every day on TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube.
The content pages also allow you to provide supporting text, encourage student discussion, offer downloads, discounts and giveaways as well as marketing calls-to-action ultimately driving sales.
It is a really flexible platform. Essentially it is all about delivering interesting content and driving engagement with students.
Our mission at Freshers Festival has always been to connect students with great brands, organisations and each other. For over a decade we have opened our doors to 150,000+ students and introduced them to amazing opportunities, organisations and outrageous freebies. We have had the chance to host hundreds of brands from Nike to IKEA and everyone in-between but this year, we are doing things differently.
There is a real uncertainty right now especially for students and with brands trying to engage with them.
To ensure students don’t miss out, the UK’s first and largest Virtual Freshers Festival is back for 2021; the larger, livelier, lockdown-friendly event that any student can get involved in.
The Freshers Festival was the ideal event for Just Eat to be involved in because it pulls all the university and colleges campuses together, while also connecting us with numerous companies from an incredibly wide range of industries. Following the success of this event (year on year sales of partner brands increased by up to 28%), Just Eat are already making plans to work with the Freshers Festival Group again!
Bex Reilly, Just Eat
The Freshers Festivals are the UK’s largest freshers fairs, they are also the only student event which will allow you to reach thousands of students from all Universities and Colleges in the surrounding areas.
It’s more than that though. The Freshers Festival offers you the same professional exhibition environment that you will be used to from any other conference and exhibition you have attended. We value our clients and our attendees and understand the need to provide the best experience possible.
So whether you are promoting your brand, collecting data, recruiting, boosting your social media following or selling your products we have experience in helping you achieve those goals.
Oh and it’s also so much fun to attend and exhibit at, just ask any of our previous clients.
Yes definitely! We want your campaign to be a success and for you to become one of our many, many happy clients. Our job is to make sure you are well prepared and have a plan to make the most of the event and its associated media channels.
Also feel free to download our E-Book “Insight On… Student Face to Face Marketing” here for a few hints and tips to help get the most out of attending the Freshers Festivals and other freshers fairs.
Through the Freshers Festivals we reach 100,000+ students per annum through the event and its associated digital, social, email and print channels.
However, as we have such strong links with academic institutions, halls of residences, decades of experience in the market and a great team of student marketing experts, content writers and brand ambassadors we can custom build and execute a campaign to suit your needs.
Also if you need a bit more help understanding the audience and creating your overall marketing strategy our sister organisation can assist. As the UK’s largest Audience Insight and Marketing Strategy Specialist aimed at the 16-35 audience Insight Generation are perfectly placed to help.
We have worked with hundred of organisations from charities and small, single-owner run businesses to blue chip recruiters and multinational brands. The Freshers Festivals are a powerful marketing tool and we would love to discuss your requirements to show you how we can help you reach tens of thousands of students and achieve your marketing goals.
But don’t just take our word for it, have a look above to see what just a few of our previous clients have to say about the Freshers Festival.
We try to make the event as easy as possible for you to attend. To do this we provide your exhibition space, a table, chairs, free wifi and overnight stand cleaning. We can also provide electricity (depending on your requirements there may be an extra charge for this). Further information can be found within the Exhibitor’s Manual sent out after booking.
So in essence all you need to do is dress your stand, staff it and get ready for a busy (but very fun) couple of days.
No, we provide these options on the media pack as they suit the marketing needs and budgets of the majority of our clients but we are happy to discuss ad-hoc experiential options and stand sizes.
We also offer various sponsorship types if you are looking for opportunities above and beyond the exhibition stand options.
Feel free to send us an email ([email protected]) or call us on 07723 059 878 to discuss your needs.
We would be delighted to have a conversation with you to see if we can help, though we’re sure we can. If not, at the very least, we’re happy to provide you with a sounding board for your student campaign and provide any advice we can.
