It’s no surprise that Campus, the legendary bar and self-proclaimed ‘first frat house in Glasgow’, is ready to get the party going for Freshers’ Festival 2014, and they’ve got some predictably epic plans for the Relentless Main Stage.
Based at 322 Sauchiehall Street and open seven days a week from 12pm – 3am, Campus is a slice of American college life right in the heart of Glasgow. Serving food by day and DJs by night, Campus also offers a host of events ranging from sports nights to quizzes: and they’re at the heart of the 2014 Freshers’ Festival.
But from 2pm – 3pm on the 2nd and 3rd of October, Campus will be taking to the Relentless Main Stage and inviting attending freshers to join them for some seriously competitive karaoke.
We’re confident that it’ll be the best ice-breaker on offer at freshers’ this year, and the Campus crew know how to make sure everyone has a good time, but it’s not all fun and games. There’s a serious competitive element: and prizes on offer to the top dog.
During the course of their hour of power, Campus will be giving away their famous hoodies to lucky students and every person who steps up to take the mic (trust us, these things are like gold dust) and those who demonstrate the best pair of lungs will be rewarded with free meal vouchers. That’s right, you can literally sing for your supper at Freshers’ Festival.
And if you need to pluck up the courage before heading over to the Relentless Main Stage for a sing-a-long, you can always visit our drinks area for a taste of Dutch courage. There’s plenty on offer, just remember to set yourself an alarm so your don’t miss the 2pm kick-off!
