The UK’s largest student expo Freshers Festival is expanding this year with the launch of its very first London event. The festival is set to happen on 29th September, the week following the Glasgow event at the iconic George Square on the 19th and 20th September.
Last year’s festival attracted over 10,000 students, and the London event is set to draw thousands of students from across the city. The Yard Shoreditch, where the Freshers Festival London will take place, has hosted several events in the past for brands like Marks and Spencer, Sweaty Betty and Unilever.
So what should be expected from both festivals this year? For one thing, students will be able to get their hands on thousands of freebies from over 150 retail, beauty, tech and music brands who will exhibit.
With tons of brands and students under one roof, the festival is an opportunity for both sides to network. Students will get the chance to discover exciting career opportunities, eat, drink, dance and connect with model scouts, while brands can connect with students from all of the cities’ universities and colleges under one roof.
Both festivals will also feature a special VIP section where guests can snap up exclusive gifts by sponsored brands.
There’s also lots of free food and drinks, free pizza and an after party to top it all off!
