We recently sent out the first of our series of weekly emails offering help, advice, messages of inspiration, deals, freebies and a chance to smile during this tough time. We will turn the email into a blog post each week for those people who prefer blog content. Here is our first newsletter:
The Antidote to Isolation
We are lucky to be connected to hundreds of thousands of young people across the UK and work with amazing brands and organisations so we feel we need to bring this all together to help support our audience in these bizarre times of isolation.
We also want to hear from you. What do you want to see each week? Please email, we read and respond to every message. Pinky promise!
1. Fun & Frivolous
Just because you can’t go out doesn’t mean you can’t see your friends and family and have some fun whilst isolating! Why not download the House Party app. It’s important to keep in touch even if it’s just a quick chat, playing a game or a full-blown party.
Why not take up a new hobby? Air plants (same plant family as pineapple) are low maintenance plants that are adapted to live in a wide variety of conditions, from deserts to rain forests. Unlike most plants they don’t need soil to grow, they literally live in the air! Check out Andy’s Air Plants for some inspiration.
Disney+ I mean, need we say anymore?! We have been watching this nonstop and it’s the perfect escape. Discover the best stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic in one place. Hit movies, timeless classic and new originals for £5.99 a month or £59.99 for the year. They even have a 7-day free trial.
